Aquatic Respirometry Package
The
Aquatic Respirometry Package measures changes in oxygen production, transpiration
or respiration in aquatic plants and animals. The package is a single
channel, open flow, intermittent respirometry system based
on a research-grade oxygen sensor and 15-bit data acquisition via USB.
The PC software provides accurate and stable measurements of oxygen production
or consumption rates every 3-5 minutes in a controlled environment.

variety of test conditions. VO2, VCO2,

other physiological and pulmonary parameters may be measured using the
package.
Inhaled and exhaled breath are analyzed by rapid response O2
and CO2
analyzers at a sampling rate of 100 Hz so that the entire breath wave
form is displayed graphically in real time. The breath wave form and end-tidal
O2
and CO2
are clearly displayed, even during vigorous exercise.

The Electrophysiology Package is designed to investigate
electrophysiological aspects of human physiology in a completely safe
and non-invasive manner. Signals are transmitted through optically isolated
circuitry, and power for the sensors are transformed from AC to low voltage

includes analyzers for electromyopathy (EMG), eletrocardiography (EKG),
