| MS3 VO2
Measurement System
Designed for measurement
of resting metabolic rate and VO2 during exercise
stress, Qubit's MS3 VO2 Measurement System includes
a pressure and temperature compensated fuel cell O2
sensor, and a factory calibrated turbine for accurate flow and volume
measurements. The self-contained system allows accurate measurements
of resting energy expenditure, as well as measurements of sub max and
max VO2. Adding an optional heart rate monitor
to the unit, provides accurate determination of the anaerobic threshold
through analysis heart rate, ventilation and VE/VO2
during exercise. Software is intuitive and reports are comprehensive.

An accurate, low cost package
for entry level research and teaching. Includes a non dispersive infrared
CO2 analyzer and fuel cell O2
sensor for measurement of pCO2 and pO2
in mixed expired air. A calibrated pneumotach spirometer measures breath
volume and frequency. Heart rate is measured by a wireless hand-held
monitor. A four channel LabPro interface and Logger Pro software records
and displays data for calculation of VO2, VCO2,
RQ, Anaerobic Threshold etc.

BBB1LP
Breath by Breath Respirometry Package (O2 + CO2)
Qubit’s
new BBB1LP Breath by Breath Respirometry Package is designed to measure
both steady-state and dynamic changes in human metabolic rate under
a variety of test conditions. VO2, VCO2,
VO2max,
resting metabolic rate (RMR), Respiratory Exchange Ratio and a host
of other physiological and pulmonary parameters may be measured using
the package.
Inhaled and exhaled breath are analyzed by rapid response O2
and CO2
analyzers at a sampling rate of 100 Hz so that the entire breath wave
form is displayed graphically in real time. The breath wave form and
end-tidal O2
and CO2
are clearly displayed, even during vigorous exercise.

BBBO2
Breath by Breath Respirometry Package (O2)
Qubit’s
new BBBO2 Breath by Breath Respirometry Package is designed to measure
both steady-state and dynamic changes in human metabolic rate under
a variety of test conditions. VO2, VO2max,
resting metabolic rate (RMR), and a host of other physiological and
pulmonary parameters may be measured using the package.
Inhaled and exhaled breath are analyzed by a rapid response O2
analyzer at a sampling rate of 100 Hz so that the entire breath wave
form is displayed graphically in real time. The breath wave form and
end-tidal O2
are clearly displayed, even during vigorous exercise.

Qubit Systems' S158 Carbon Dioxide
Analyzer measures CO2 exchange
in larger or more active animals and in situations where high CO2
fluxes may occur, such as fermentation processes. The S158 shares the
same infrared technology and modular design as the S157 CO2
Analyzer. Output is linearized so that a simple two point (zero and
span) calibration can be used.

S105 Rapid Response Fuel Cell O2 Analyzer
The S105 fuel cell O2
analyzer has a response time of 100 msecs for breath by breath O2
analysis.

S106 Rapid Response Paramagnetic O2 Analyzer
The S106 paramagnetic O2
analyzer has a response time of 200 msecs and does not require periodic
sensor replacement.

Qubit's S108 Absolute O2
Analyzer is the most flexible, accurate and affordable oxygen analyzer
on the market. It uses a fuel cell sensor that operates at ambient temperature
unlike power hungry zirconium sensors that require an on-board furnace.
It has a resolution of greater than 0.01% O2
and corrects for changes in pressure.
|
|
| S102
Fuel Cell O2 Sensor The
lowest cost option for measuring pO2 in mixed
expired air, Qubit's S102 flow
through oxygen sensor provides accurate measurements of oxygen concentration
from 0-100% O2
in the gas phase with a resolution of 0.01% (100 ppm). The sensor head
is fitted with a T-piece and nylon tubing to allow easy attachment to
other instruments or tubing.
